We are looking for a **Senior System Administrator** (m/f).

**About the Job**
As a member of our Admin Team, you are responsible for the conception and development of the infrastructure for large-scale IT projects. You ensure sustainable availability, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure across multiple continents and regions. This includes managing server infrastructure, working with hosting providers, addressing security concerns, managing large scale software rollouts, configuration management of the software stack, and supporting development with test and staging environments, automated testing environments, and virtualization. With the help of your ambition and curiosity you are able to handle upcoming challenges and tasks.

**Who we´re looking for**
After obtaining your Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent professional education in a technical discipline, you were able to gain several years of relevant work experience in the software engineering field. You are experienced with managing Linux environments, which include the setup and configuration/management of: Apache, nginx, memcached, MySQL, and no-SQL databases such as CouchBase and Elasticsearch. You are comfortable working with bash/shell scripting and, ideally, have experience with PHP, Perl, Ruby, Python, and/or Java. You have experience planning and supporting high-traffic website infrastructure and may have used tools such as Puppet and NewRelic.
