Food Express is a fast-growing startup and offers an efficient on-demand delivery service for every type of restaurant. Cooperating with more than 500 restaurants, Food Express is currently offering its service in Berlin, München, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Köln, Nürnberg / Fürth and Düsseldorf. Further cities will follow soon.
We are looking for a Senior Backend JavaScript Developer (m/f) to help us disrupt a hot market with mobile technologies.

**Senior Backend JavaScript Developer (m/f)**

**Responsibilities**

• Architect, design, implement and maintain complex projects written in Node.js
• designing and implementing highly scalable API infrastructure
• continuously improve the quality, performance and scalability of our JavaScript Projects
• writing test coverage, manually test and continuously deploy projects
• writing clean and readable code
• collaborating with other team members across UI/UX design
• implementing fronted HTML/CSS interfaces

**Your Experience**

• 4+ years development experience with Node.js
• Background with JSON REST services
• JavaScript including frameworks like Angular.js and Backbone
• Mongo databases as well as relational databases like MySQL
• Usage of Git

**Additional plus**

• Experience with Grunt
• Experience with Docker
• Knowledge in Amazon Webservices
