You will assist primarily on the digital marketing pertaining to new website projects. Marketing activities will include website launch promotions, email marketing, ongoing online promotions and competitions, social media marketing and blogger relations, managing and creating site content (for organic SEO).
The ideal candidate has experience managing online marketing activities, has demonstrated proficiency in data-driven decision-making, and thrives off a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment. Passion to learn new things and succeed in a dynamic environment is a must. Experience is a plus.
You’ll be also required to assist with other marketing activities outside your major project including creative concept development, agency pitches and proposals, brainstorming workshops, market research, copywriting, writing brief documents, event planning, website and usability testing.
YOUR MAIN DUTIES:
Optimizing and implementing the online marketing strategy, including planning and execution of online promotions and competitions
Social media marketing, blogger relations, link building and basic SEO
Email marketing – writing briefs, copywriting, designing and finalising email templates, database management
Market research including social trends, consumer insights, benchmarking, competitor- and keyword analysis for a range of target markets
Development of creative concepts for online marketing projects
Website testing and usability testing
Participating in brainstorming workshops
Assisting with copy, creative, and campaigns across various social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google+ etc.)
Creating Metrics/ROI reports and interpreting/presenting them at weekly meetings
A well-organized, self-starter who shows ownership over assignments
Familiarity with SEO techniques, social media and quick to adopt new technology
Portfolio of work that shows talent, organization and enthusiasm
Must be proactive and aspire to do award-winning work
Have a passion for creating great online content with a proven ability or background in writing.
Excellent command of English both oral and written
Be able to work independently with a high sense of responsibility
Experience managing Social Media channels and using services such as Hootsuite, Buffer, SproutSocial or SocialPilot is a big plus
