Start Up Energy Transition Tech Festival

The Tech Festival will gather start-ups, accelerators, investors and corporations from all around the world working on ideas affecting global energy transition and climate change. Participants will be able to connect to an international network, listen to notable speakers, join corporate challenges, match investors and explore new business models. Additionally, the prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 start-ups of each category of the Start Up Energy Transition Awards, which received more than 500 applications from 66 countries.

The Tech Festival takes place in Berlin on March 20th, 2017, alongside the “Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue” (BETD). The BETD is a conference organised by the Federal Government, where over 1000 delegates from 70 countries will meet. The Tech Festival is part of the Start Up Energy Transition- an initiative by the German Energy Agency (Deutsche Energie-Agentur, dena) launched on November 22, 2016.
