Senior Full-Stack Developer (Ruby on Rails) – Amazers GmbH

Amazers is a SaaS company that provides brands, organizations and influencers with unique white label community-networks.

We’re currently looking for a kick-ass Senior Full-Stack RoR Developer to join our engineering team!

Forget existing community-building solutions. We give our customers a branded and fully owned community-network that is customized to their needs and optimized to foster REAL engagement.

Are you up for the challenge?

YOUR PROFILE:
You have at least 3 years of professional experience developing large scale Ruby on Rails applications
Great knowledge of both front- and back-end development (big plus if you have worked on SaaS products before)
You are a coder at heart and passionate about clean code
You possess an independent, structured and well-organized working style with the ability to handle complex problems
Expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, SASS
Experience in application deployment and maintenance on a linux server
Any devops experience (e.g Docker, Chef, Puppet) is a plus
You have a keen eye for design including UI/UX and responsive design
You are a great communicator and have an enthusiastic and positive personality
You are a hands-on team player with a “can do” attitude
Proficiency in English
You are available right now and either based in Berlin or willing to move here asap

YOUR TASKS:
Have a complete technical overview of our product and conduct full-stack development of new features and products
Ensure scalability, security and performance of our current application
Outline technical opportunities and risks to deliver our company’s services as well as identify new potential innovations
Lead other tech team members and assist in hiring and onboarding of further developers
