CUBE is a Berlin-based global innovation ecosystem that aims to promote, create and foster partnerships between industry players and startups in life sciences/ digital health, machinery/ manufacturing and infrastructure/ connectivity.
Initiated in 2015 out of existing industry needs, CUBE creates business opportunities around the world, including via co-hosting events with local partners — from intimate settings (e.g. the CxO dinner co-hosted with the World Economic Forum) to several thousands of participants. The annual Berlin Tech Fair, CUBE’s flagship event, will take place for the first time May 2017.
To fulfill its mission of high quality industry-startup matchmaking, CUBE is built around four main axes: CUBE Global Touchpoints, CUBE Connects, CUBE Matchmaking, and CUBE Cooperation Space. CUBE GmbH stands for international atmosphere, challenging project work and industry 4.0.
In order to have further support on main themes we are actively looking for an intelligent, driven (Senior) Account Manager to join us.
Job Description:
We’re looking for someone, who is passionate about the startup world. You’ll be an integral part of the team with the aim to build connections across different communities and cross industries. Ideal candidates have shown Entrepreneurial ambitions in the past and are curious to combine an analytical position with client contact.

**Your Role**
Actively prospect for new business within appointed markets to ensure revenue maintenance and development for budget excellence
Nurture long-lasting business relationships with current and future business partners via visits, phone calls, emails, mailings, face to face discussions, client events, etc
Maintain trace of data and relations with contacts and prospects in relevant databases
Create and publish promotional sales tools with various media to ensure high level of communication with customers and prospects of CUBE projects
Report on sales activity, forecast, trends and budget status of projects to colleagues on a regular basis
Organize regular meetings and where necessary client events with relevant CUBE leadership
Collect information from colleagues on CUBE products, projects for presentation of latest accurate specifications to clients
Evaluate existing product range, analyze proposals for innovative products and services where necessary and assist in development of new product lines
Assess success of products with industry partners and their intent to repeat investment, report internally, and seek improvements
Identify and influence key industry policy makers to gain buy-in for new business opportunity
Investigate market dynamics to maximize customer understanding and competitive advantage

**Our Requirements**
5+ year experience of applying B2B sales and marketing techniques
Successfully completed studies or apprentice (or similar) training with appropriate professional experience
Experience of developing sales strategy & planning and managing sales activity
Sound financial management including understanding of budgeting, financial modelling, reporting & management
Strong customer and service orientation
Very good knowledge of English and German language (B1 level), for the support of our national and international clients, as well as at least one other language
Excellent analytical skills and communication proficiency
Very structured and independent way of working
Creativity, willingness to take responsibility, and teamwork
Performance motivation, negotiation and customer relation management skills as well as a feeling for excellent quality work
Diversity competence
Technology affinity as well as passion for and practical experience with new product development / enhancement and the appropriate IT tools
Attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines under pressure
Willingness to travel and flexibility
Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
