sygns is a Neon Design and Production company based in Berlin, Germany and Copenhagen, Denmark. We create handmade and personalized Neon Light Installations for our clients, business and private customers – as well as for ourselves. We therefore cooperate with talented artists from different fields such as Architecture, Fine Arts, Graphic & Interior Design. To expand our team in Berlin, we are looking for an Embedded Systems Developer.

As an Embedded Systems Developer at sygns you should be passionate about developing codes for embedded systems in a modern environment as well as competent when it comes to implementing, deploying and maintaining them for production.

Your role at sygns?

You will design and implement firmware for an embedded smart home light system from requirement coverage to production and commercial deployment
You work on customization, development and integration of an existing hardware product
You will invent new features for cutting edge application of the internet of things
You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers on design and manufacturing process

Who we are looking for?

You have experience in developing firmware’s & digital electronics
You have an basic understanding of hardware elements, their function and deployment
You have project experience with at least one of the following languages and technologies: C, C++
You have a strong theory background
You have experience in solving embedded system specific problems
You are a team player and you can also work independently
You are fluent in English (German is a Plus!)
