Factory is now looking for an experienced journalist with a background in tech to be our in-house Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief will build and lead our in-house editorial team, design and execute our content strategy and help tell the many stories of the Factory community.

Your tasks:

Set up an in-house publishing platform to tell the stories of the Factory residents & members.
Build and lead a team of interdisciplinary content specialist, from editors to designers to photographers.
Design and execute our content strategy: Come up with, produce and publish journalistic stories via text, video and audio formats.
Be responsible for delivering creative, high-quality content on a regular basis.
Manage and grow our owned and earned media channels from website to social media to newsletters.
Your profile:

You have at least three years of professional experience in journalism or PR, preferably with a tech background.
You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. journalism, communications).
You are comfortable and experienced in building and leading an in-house editorial team plus, if needed, experienced freelance creatives.
You have a good knowledge of the local and international startup scene and jargon.
You have a great sense of journalistic style and quality and can demonstrate the standards you expect from your team.
