Start Time

Description

This half-day premium training is offered at a reduced price, thanks to generous support by the BMW-Foundation Herbert Quandt.

As a social entrepreneur, non-profit or startup, you pitch all the time: on stage at events, but also in personal conversations, in meetings, in e-mails, in press releases etc. You have to constantly convince people your company is relevant to them. To do that, you have to precisely present your business, but also get the audience emotionally excited about your “story”. This is an art, but it can be learned.

So who is the artist that will be teaching you? Christoph is known as „The Pitch Doctor“ in Berlin and beyond. After working in advertising, he got into startups in 2007. For the last 3,5 years, he has helped 100s of founders improve the way they pitch to investors, donors, partners and customers. He is a mentor/coach for different accelerators, incubators and startup competitions around Europe and MENA.

Aims

This workshop will give you a general overview over the dos and don’ts of pitching, as well as frameworks for the most relevant types of pitches:

– The 1-Sentence-Pitch

– The Elevator Pitch

– The 5-Minute-Pitch

But since pitching is best learned by “doing it”, this training will also give you the opportunity to develop and practice your own pitches and get feedback for immediate improvement. That way, you will leave fully prepared for your next pitching opportunity, whenever it may strike you.
